There are lots of ways to get involved with ACSS.
Find the opportunity that fits you best, and join us!
Café 458 Sunday Brunch
Every Sunday, Café 458 transforms into a southern brunch restaurant. Through every delicious meal, we build awareness and earn revenue for the organization and programs. Volunteers are needed every Sunday to cook, host, and serve. (Individual and Group opportunities exist)
Host a CareerWorks Bootcamp (CB3) workshop: ACSS CareerWorks services begin with a 3-week CareerWorks Bootcamp to jumpstart individual workforce readiness and skills development. We welcome volunteers with expertise in interviewing, job search techniques, resume development, workplace ethics, team building, financial management, and much more. Bootcamp is held Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 12 PM.
Computer Lab Support: The ACSS computer lab is constantly abuzz with activity as clients search for jobs, correspond with potential employers, build resumes and learn valuable computer skills. Computer lab volunteers help our clients in all of these processes. We are seeking volunteers to assist Monday-Friday from 1pm-3pm (Many Individual and Group opportunities exist).
